If you are looking for a European tourist destination, consider the island of Sicily, a region of southern Italy. Depending on your interests, this beautiful area can be an ideal vacation spot. You’ve planned for weeks and months and now your dream to travel Italy is almost a reality. Here are a few helpful pointers to help make your adventures go more smoothly.

http://www.right-travel.com/index.php

Italy, a real treasure chest of culture and heritage – with Italy food, Italy wine, Italy culture and Italy history, is always on the top of a European tour list. A tour to Italy would not be complete without going to Florence. This city is in the heart of Tuscany and is sometimes considered the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance. It is a place that is famous for its abundance of fine art and architecture and in the modern day, its fashion and leather goods.

In general the weather is very hot and steaming in the dead of the summer. We recommend that you wear light clothing. Be sure to have sunglasses, hat and sunblock, as they are essential. Afternoon thunderstorms (brief) are common in Rome and inland cities, so you may want to consider bringing an umbrella. The most romantic wedding traditions from around the word: Italy, Spain & Egypt

If you are feeling a little tired out after a few days of sightseeing in Florence, a Florence hills tour can be a great way to relax and wind down. With a great ambience and an aura of solitude the hills of Florence are very popular and ideal for those who wish to take a break from the city.

If you only have a few hours to spare and don’t want to venture too far from Florence, then a trip to the town of Fiesole is highly recommended. Set amongst the hills, just 5 miles from Florence, Fiesole makes a pleasant half-day trip from Florence and provides a wonderful view of the city. You can get there by bus from the centre of Florence in around 20 minutes.

If you have a full day to spare there are numerous tour companies that can organise day trips by bus, walking tours or biking trips. On the other hand you can hire a car and use a map to discover the delight of the Tuscan countryside for yourself.

A guided walking tour of the Florence hills will provide you with an insider’s view of Florence & Tuscany – you can discover the hidden treasures and learn of great legends and stories, giving you a more intimate experience of the region of Tuscany. A walk through the Florence hills is invigorating and you can soak up the beauty of the surroundings as you breathe in the fresh air and bask in the warm sun. You’ll also find plenty of photo opportunities as you pass by churches, castles, hill top towns and villages, olive trees and vineyards

Are you visiting Italy soon and wondering how you are going to survive without speaking Italian?

Well, you are really lucky as the Italians are a nation of communicators, even if you can’t speak their language.

For a start, you’ll notice everyone greets you either with a ‘Buon Giorno’ in the morning, or ‘Buona Sera’ in the late afternoon/evening. So these are two short phrases you want to learn straightaway.

Whether you are visiting relatives, on a business trip or just going on vacation, it will be wise to know a few rules of the land before you go:

1. In Italy the pedestrian crossings tend to be there to add a splash of color to the road, Italians rarely use them, preferring instead to take their chances wherever it’s convenient for them to cross.

2. Cars, scooters and motorbikes tend not to stop or even slow down at a pedestrian crossing, unless there is a set of traffic lights.

3. Don’t expect to eat a full meal if it is outside the regular eating hours of most Italians, which is between 12.00 noon and 3.00pm and 7.00pm – 11.00pm. If you want to eat between those times, visit the variety of cafe bars in every Italian town or city for a snack.

4. If you just want a quick coffee or espresso, you will need to queue at the cash desk or the ‘cassa’ to pay for your drink beforehand, then give your receipt to the bar person, or ‘barrista’ and tell him your order.

5. Most cafe bars have waiter service only at the tables, both inside and outside, so don’t attempt to serve yourself and sit down at a table, as the waiter will not be pleased.

6. Italians love their style and are keen to present a good image or bella figura, so avoid wearing shorts and a t-shirt for dinner in a restaurant, as this attire is considered too casual.

7. Finally… enjoy, enjoy, enjoy all that Italy has to offer and as the Italians say ‘Buon divertimento!’

If you’re going to Italy to visit relatives, on business or on vacation, or just want to learn the beautiful Italian language then I invite you to visit http://www.SpeakItalianSoon.com and begin today.

Rome is a popular destination and everyone who travels there finds something that makes his or her stay there worthwhile. This city is known for its architecture, art, historic monuments and many other tourist attraction sites. All sorts of people including businesspersons, religious leaders, historians, tourists, and even food lovers are drawn to this city throughout the year. With the amount of human traffic, getting cheap passage to the eternal city requires proper planning. It is advisable that booking is done early enough to avoid last minute flights, which are very expensive. The internet has enough information and access to a variety of cheap flights to Rome. Many airlines post their estimated airfare several months in advance to allow for payment. They give incentives to those who book early by charging less if the reservation is done early. Booking can therefore be done way in advance through the internet. The process of booking requires tourists to select the eternal city as their destination, identify the departure airports and specify the months of travel.

Comparing different airlines and their services is advisable to ensure a particular airline or vacation package, which may be less expensive, is not overlooked. Many people looking for inexpensive flights prefer economy cabin seats, since they are moderately priced. Weekend flight and emergency trips are expensive and it is therefore advisable that booking is done for midweek instead of weekends, Monday or Friday. Identifying a departure date at a time when few people are traveling helps those traveling to acquire bookings if they had traveled during a holiday national event or activity. Tourists who travel to central Italy from the month of July until August are fewer than other times of the year. These two months are more humid and hot than the other months and most tourists prefer a much cooler climate. It is, therefore, easier to obtain air travel to the eternal city during this time of year, since most airlines offer potential customers hefty discounts and other incentives to lure them to travel during these two months.

Inexpensive travel is made available to senior citizen and student tours as incentives to get more people traveling to Italy. Travelers that are funded through permits and grants to visit and study the culture of the country may be fortunate to receive discounted tickets. Companies are also known to auction through the internet, a scheme, which aims to benefit their regular clients. Bidding for tickets is an easier way of getting there than buying regular tickets. Visitors have several traveling options and they can select one that is most convenient for them. One of the options that may also offer cheap passage to Rome is connecting flights. Booking direct air is not necessary unless the traveler is in a rush since connecting flights are also available and are more affordable. When traveling to Italy, visitors can book European round-trip tickets. These tickets are available at reduced prices and allow tourists to visit several European cities using one ticket.

For more information about flights to Rome, please visit http://www.airfaresrome.cc

Once you book your tickets, it is a good idea to learn more about the airport you will be landing at. The article entitled, Fiumicino International Airport, gives you good information about one of the major airports in Rome. It can be found at: http://www.airfaresrome.cc/Fiumicino-International-Airport.html

Getting married in Italy is a dream come true. After your wedding in Italy it will be time to enjoy your Italy honeymoon. Choosing an Italy honeymoon destination is easy if you follow my five tips to choosing a perfect Italy honeymoon destination:

Step 1: What time of year are you getting married in Italy?

Before choosing an Italy Honeymoon Destination, you need to know the time of year that you are getting married in Italy. For instance, if you are getting married in Italy in the summer, then you may want to chose a coastal Italy honeymoon destination as the cities tend to be hot and crowded. Both the Amalfi Coast and Portofino are stunning. Also, you would be able to choose from the many Italian islands like Capri, Sardinia and the Aeolians. However if you are getting married in the winter, these Italy honeymoon destinations may not be as beautiful and vibrant in the colder months. During this time you may want to consider a city vacation like Rome, Florence or even Venice.

Step 2: What do you want to do on your honeymoon?

After your wedding in Italy is complete you will have to decide whether you just want to relax and enjoy the area that you were married in or travel to a new destination during your Italy honeymoon. If you want to be active after your wedding in Italy, then the cities are better as they have more to see and do. Here are some ideas: In Tuscany you can travel to the small medieval towns and vineyards for wine and olive oil tastings. In Rome you can visit the Vatican and other historical monuments. In Florence you can see the famous David sculpture and the art of the Uffizi Museum. However, if you just want to unwind and relax after your wedding in Italy then you may want to rent a private villa in Tuscany with a great view. You could also head to one of the Italian islands and sit on the beach and soak in the Italian sunshine!

Step 3: How much time do you have to spend on your Italy honeymoon?

If you only have a few days, you may want to choose an Italy honeymoon destination that is close to where your wedding in Italy took place. For instance, if you had an Amalfi Coast wedding, a perfect honeymoon destination is the island of Capri. Or if you were married in Portifino then maybe Lake Como or Sardinia will be a better choice as they are closer. If your wedding in Italy took place in Florence then you may want to consider the seaside village of Lucca or even Chianti for your Italy honeymoon. However, if you have a few weeks off from work and responsibilities then you may want to consider getting a train pass and traveling around the entire country or possibly booking a villa. The choice is yours!

Step 4: Do you want to explore the country?

Italy is a small country and has a great train system. You can easily get from one place to the next within a few hours. This will allow you to visit many parts of Italy during your Italy honeymoon. In fact once your wedding in Italy is complete you can hop on a train where a first class ticket is inexpensive and be in another amazing city by lunch!

Step 5: What is your budget?

Some areas of Italy are very seasonal and finding an amazing hotel, can be very expensive. For instance, if you wanted to spend your Italy honeymoon in Italy’s famous summer destination of Porto Cervo in Sardinia, expect to spend a lot of money. However, there are many small towns and more inexpensive places on the island of Sardinia to spend your Italy honeymoon. The key is to try to travel in shoulder season. The weather is usually still good, the crowds are less and the prices are cheaper.

So as you see there are just a few things to think about before booking your Italy honeymoon destination.
